Purim is almost here! The fun starts next Sunday with a special schedule:
No hebrew classes so kids go straight to Judaic classrooms at 10:15 am.
Purim shpiel in the sanctuary at 11:00 am.
Carnival starts at 11:30 am and goes until 1:30 pm.
Lunch and Tickets. If you have not yet ordered lunch tickets you can still do so. We are keeping the advance pricing open until Tuesday evening. You can send an email to turetzkyg@yahoo.com and we will put your order in. If you have already pre-ordered, your packet will be available Sunday morning for pickup at the ticket table. You can also buy additional tickets there and a limited selection of a la carte food items will be available.
Artistic Help. We have a new game that we would like to add, but it needs to be decorated for Purim. If you can do it before Sunday, please contact me and we can arrange for pickup.
Book Walk. We need more kids books for the book walk. They do not need to be Jewish books, but should be kids books. Please bring in any books in good condition to the office on Wednesday (or Sunday morning) that we can use as prizes in the book walk. It’s a great way for kids to swap books and reuse is better than recycling.
Volunteers If you would like to volunteer we have a few specific areas where we could use your help:
Wednesday 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm to help organize the silent auction
Saturday 11:00 am – 1:00 pm to help prep some of the food for Sunday
Sunday 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm to help with cleanup

Silent Auction and Drawing The Purim carnival is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We have some fabulous items this year including winery tours, theatre tickets, dinners, hotels and lots of outings. We also have a grand prize of a 12M pixel digital camera and printer to give away. Be sure to stop by and bid early, bid often and enter in as many drawings as interest you.
Lastly, we are hoping for good weather, but the carnival goes on rain or shine. Hope to see you there!
