There is apparently a significant conflict between the scheduled first session of the Tikkun Olam Workshop and interested parties’ availability. Therefore, the first session of the workshop has been rescheduled from October 11th until November 1, 2006. If you were planning on attending the October 11th meeting but did not notify me, I implore you to let me know you can come on November 1st!
Please mark your calendars NOW so that you will plan on attending the first session of this important workshop on November 1, 2006, at Temple Emanu-El at 7:00 pm. The second session of the Tikkun Olam Workshop will be held on November 15, 2006. I hope you will agree with me that the betterment of our Temple and our community should be a priority for our congregation. Striving for social justice is everyone’s responsibility and the time to act is now.
Again, contact me and let me know you will attend the first workshop session on November 1st. Even if your time is limited and you are unable to fully participate, your input and suggestions at our workshop will be a valuable contribution.
