The next SAC meeting is Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in Room 20 of the Temple Emanu-El Religious School at 7:00 pm. This is a very important meeting to discuss our Tikkun Olam activities and our presentation to the Board of Trustees. We will be soliciting the Board's support for our project to conduct a listening campaign to contact and meet with our congregants. We want to identify issues of interest to our members that will spark a connection with the congregation, so that we can develop projects that all will want to work on enthusiastically.
We all realize that there will be no financial support available from the Temple, but by gaining the endorsement of the Board for this type of project, we can move forward to implement our campaign from a stronger position. Please let me know you will attend the meeting on Tuesday and lend your thoughts and opinions. The Temple supports us and the Committee needs you.
