Our Tikkun Olam presentation to the Temple's Board of Trustees was a grand success. The Board voted unanimously to approved our request to join PACT and begin our listening campaign to engage our members in social justice issues. I want to thank all of the SAC members who have supported our efforts and, in particular, Maggie, Barbara and Mike who participated so productively in the presentation.
I have tentatively set Tuesday, May 22nd for our next meeting, at which time we will kick off our efforts to begin a new chapter in the history of Temple Emanu-El Social Action/Social Justice.
