This month we will coordinate our Committee meeting with the Membership Committee meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2007. We will make a presentation to the Membership Committee about our Listening Campaign and discuss how we can get people interested in becoming volunteer listeners. Please plan on attending at 7:00 pm at the Temple.
There is an opportunity to make a statement for Jewish values on July 5th. Two leading figures in the Holocaust Denial movement are scheduled to speak in San Jose this coming Thursday, July 5th at the Ramada Limited. These two people cover their vicious anti-semitism by arguing that the holocaust did not occur. I hope that some Jewish voices will appear at this conference to tell the truth.
PACT will be having a legislative meeting with officials in Sacramento on Monday, July 9, 2007. They will be speaking with them specifically about healthcare in the crucial months leading up to policy change in September. Interested Temple members are encouraged to attend.
