Today at Connections 2008, two "Women of Temple Emanu-El" and one daughter of a "Women of Temple Emanu-El" were honored. Barbara Berlant and Jacqueline Haggerty (our Women of Distinction) and Fagie Rosen, who received the Janet Berg Award were surrounded by family and friends. Five tables from the Women of Temple Emanu-El were present to support these wonderful ladies and young lady. More Women of Temple Emanu-El were scattered throughout the ballroom. There are some pictures of the event in the photo gallery. They're not good, but as Bill likes to say, "they beat the heck out of nothing."

After the luncheon, I visited Eva Stanley at Santa Teresa Hospital, where she has been all week recovering from a fall. Eva hopes to go home early this week. She is in Room 635, bed 2.

Our game night on March 1st was a very successful evening. Pictures from there (also not great) are in the gallery, as well.
