The committee met on Tuesday, May 27 for a very productive meeting. We have contacted and listened to well over a hundred of our congregants and have made an excellant start towards identifying an issue of Temple and community interest. For now, we have selected as our areas of focus the environment and elder care. We will now begin a process of research and development to see if we can't find an issue that will excite our members. If you have some suggestions, please let us know. Your feedback is very important, so please plan on attending our next meeting.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Temple at 7:00 pm, so please mark your calendars now. Also, please note that for this month we will meet on a Monday instead of our regular Tuesday schedule. We plan to have some short presentations oriented towards providing information about the issues we would like to work on this year. Let me know that you will attend.
