<div class=Section1> Parents of all students in grades 2 through 7, B�nai Mitzvah Orientation is this Sunday in the Temple sanctuary from 9 am to 10 am.� This is a terrific opportunity to learn about the requirements for becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah as well as helpful information for parents when planning such an event.<o:p></o:p> <![if !supportEmptyParas]> <!><o:p></o:p> Take a look at these three interesting events coming up shortly:<o:p></o:p> April 6th, 7:30 pm, Congregation Beth Am, Los Altos Hills<o:p></o:p> �Address Unknown�, an Israeli theatrical production with English surtitles.� This is the stage adaptation of a book that was written as a series of letters between a Jewish art dealer, living in San Francisco, and his business partner, who returned to Germany in 1932 and gradually adopted Nazi ideology.� This novel was credited with exposing, early on, the dangers of Nazism to the American public.� The play stars Zvi Schwartzberg and Rafi Kalmar.� This production would be of particular interest to our 7th through 12th graders.� Tickets are $50 (for front row seats; $15 of this is donated to the �Warm Home� project of Yad Be Yad), $35, and $20.� To purchase tickets, contact Vered Ravid at 408-530-8243 or Tziona Tassa at 650-965-3799.� You can also purchase tickets by Visa or Mastercard from Orly�s Bookstore at 408-732-3238.<o:p></o:p> <![if !supportEmptyParas]> <!><o:p></o:p> April 13th, 7:30 � 9:00 pm, APJCC Family Campus in Los Gatos<o:p></o:p> How to Get Into and Pay for College is a program sponsored by the Silicon Valley Jewish community (including Temple Emanu-El).� All high school students and their parents are invited to attend to learn how to get into the right college for each individual student, how to pay for college, how to get financial aid, and how to find out about Jewish life on college campuses (you can speak with Hillel students).� Attendance is free.<o:p></o:p> <![if !supportEmptyParas]> <!><o:p></o:p> April 14th, 4 pm, Board of Chambers of the Santa Clara County Supervisors<o:p></o:p> THREE UNTOLD STORIES FROM THE HOLOCAUST:� WOMEN, NORTH AFRICA and ASIA.� As a culmination of research and interviews, students from Palo Alto High School, St. Francis High School, San Jose State University and the County Youth Task Force will present this program.� The survivors they have interviewed will also provide personal testimony.� The program includes the unique opportunity to hear the music of Gideon Klein, a brilliant composer who tragically perished in Furstengube, performed by students from Santa Cruz.� The program is free and open to the public, and free parking is available in the County Employee Parking Lot at 70 W.
